Accurately recording legal entity ownership and transfers over time is essential for compliance, transparency, and informed decision-making. EntityKeeper makes it easy to update ownership records as changes occur, such as individual ownership endings, company closures, and more. To do so, simply:
- Navigate to the desired entity and click the Ownership tab.
- Locate the desired shares and click the arrow icon to the left of the entity or individual.
- The process may vary depending on your specific needs, but users typically set the buyer as the primary entity whose shares are being modified. Select the appropriate reason for the change and, if needed, provide additional context in the notes field at the bottom. Make sure all required fields are completed before clicking Save.
