EntityKeeper is excited to announce NEW enhancements to user roles and permissions! As organizations evolve, team members need proper access to entities and information that supports their roles. Whether internal or third-party users, you can have peace of mind by tailoring user roles and permissions, such as visibility into corporate services or ownership details.

User Roles and Permissions
Enhancements for All Accounts and Subscriptions Tiers
Below are screenshots of the new and previous platform interface and should be referenced when reading the notes below.
- The User Details section is available to all accounts and subscriptions tiers.
- The Role dropdown (under User Details) is new and contains everything that was previously under General Permissions. Tip: Hover over the question mark icon for more information about what each role entails.
- Depending on your subscription tier, certain sections may be grayed out (continue reading for more information).
New Interface
Previous Interface
Platinum Subscription
Premium Access is a NEW feature for accounts with a Platinum subscription. These accounts will have access to ALL the new and previous user roles and permissions settings. This includes User Details, General Permissions, Entities Permissions, Entities Accessible by User, and Personnel Accessible by User.
Enterprise Subscription
Accounts with an Enterprise subscription will have access to User Details, General Permissions (CS & Checkout Cart), Entities Accessible by User, and Personnel Accessible by User.
Business/Corporate Subscriptions
Accounts with a Business or Corporate subscription will have access to User Details and General Permissions (CS & Checkout Cart).
Impacts to the End User
General Permissions
Checking or unchecking items under General Permissions controls whether the end user sees certain tabs on the main navigation bar. Items include:
- Personnel
- Charts & Reports
- Notification Center
- CS & Checkout Cart
Entities Permissions
Checking or unchecking items under Entities Permissions controls whether the end user sees certain tabs on the entity-level. Items include:
- Entity Info
- Personas
- Ownership (Ownership, Transfers, Stock/Unit Type)
- Jurisdictions
- Insurance
- Bank
- Basic Documents
- Advanced Documents
Accessing User Roles and Permissions
- Click your account name in the upper right corner and click Accounts.
- Locate the desired account and click the Settings button to the right.
- Scroll down to the Users section and either (a) click the plus button to add a new user or (b) click the gear icon to update a user's role and permissions.
